About Me

My photo
Br Jerome Mary
I am a privately professed lay hermit (not Canonical yet) under a spiritual director & my parish priest. I am a hermit in the Carmelite tradition & have been granted Spiritual Affiliation to the Carmelite Order (OCarm) by the Prior General in recognition of possessing the charism & sharing in the spirituality of the Order. I feel an affinity with Saint Jerome "The Irascible Hermit" who sarcastically fought against heresy but also defended the virginity of Our Lady. My charism is to pray & intercede everyday for people struggling with SSA & sexual addictions. The purpose of this blog has always been to share with others my wrestling with God (Genesis 32:22 - 32) to help people know that they are not alone in their struggles, & more importantly we are all called to live a life of holiness, all called to Divine Intimacy through Jesus our Beloved. Transformed by the Love of God, even the hardest hearts can be softened & changed by the Holy Spirit. May Our Lady of Mount Carmel, The Immaculate Queen of Hermits pray for us as we Climb the Mountain of the Lord (Isaiah 2:3)
